Engagement Center Consultant

Are you passionate about the reversal of the obesity pandemic? Do you care deeply about people affected by obesity, and the many co-morbid conditions -- mechanical, metabolic, and mental -- from which they suffer? Do you want to reverse weight bias? Do you or loved ones struggle with obesity, and want to help others who are pushing through their fears and reaching out for help? If so, Obesity PPM is the company for you!

Obesity PPM's engagement center is the hub of our outsourced operational services. We provide strategic solutions for hospitals and health systems, medical device companies, biotechnology and pharmaceutical companies, employers providing superior obesity treatment benefits for their employees, clinical researchers, and more. We don't sell products or services directly to individuals; this isn't a telemarketing job. Instead, our highly-specialized services transform from within the integrated system of healthcare delivery, health policy, and health economics that impacts the well-being of every person affected by obesity today.

Our Engagement Center Consultants work in dynamic, highly variable roles based on their skills, experience, and training. They are respected and deeply-valued professionals who function continuously in a virtual team environment, getting to know their colleagues and customers around the country quickly. Speaking with prospective and existing patients seeking or receiving treatment for their obesity is a significant part of the role. Genuine empathy, warmth, patience, and kindness -- even under stress -- is absolutely vital.

In addition to patients, Engagement Center Consultants also interact routinely with metabolic and bariatric surgeons, primary care physicians, and many other specialists who treat obesity co-morbidities. Communicating with investigators and research participants in a fully-compliant manner is another critical aspect of the position. Collaborating with the HR departments of self-insured employers who are seeking to lower their healthcare costs by providing superior obesity treatment benefits is another important constituency.

Engagement Center Consultants wear many hats at Obesity PPM, but they're never anonymous; ours is a "contact center in disguise," encouraging relationship building and rapport. At Obesity PPM, we do not want our Engagement Center Consultants to rush their conversations, and we go to great lengths to ensure you're able to be reached in follow up if someone has connected with you personally. We also communicate in whatever way is preferred by the other party: by inbound and outbound telephone, voicemail, email, online chat, and two-way text messaging.

Our Engagement Center Consultants are the beating heart of Obesity PPM. They work together to power the reversal of the obesity pandemic, and they make a difference, every day. If you think you might be a good fit, we'd be thrilled to hear from you.
